IPL 2026 – Match 36 RR vs SRH Blog by Reddy Anna

There’s no need for a script when the most exciting teams in IPL go head-to-head in the big dagger of Jaipur. In what promises to be a spectacular IPL 2026 Match 36 in the pink city of Jaipur, the Rajasthan Royals will host the Sunrisers Hyderabad in a home game – the main home stadium of Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Cricfit But this will be anything but a usual match. It’s a repeat for RR and see the magic of the match using Reddy Anna ID.

RR: They’re Burning It

After seven matches played thus far, the Rajasthan Royals are off to a fantastic beginning to their 2016 IPL campaign, with five wins (including two victories against LSG) putting them second in the points table (with ten points). Vaibhav Sooryavanshi leads the Rajasthan Royals batting chart with an impressive 254 runs at a strike rate of 220.86 (the best for all batsmen in the entire history of IPL 2026), including two fifties in only 15 balls (the joint-third fasted fifty ever in the IPL) after having played only seven innings! His team mate Yashasvi Jaiswal is also putting up excellent numbers with 245 runs (two fifties) after seven innings played.

The bowling department has also been performing well as Jofra Archer and Ravi Bishnoi are tied for the most wickets at eleven each during IPL 2026 for the Royals. In fact, Archer has taken over the top spot on the Royals’ all-time leading wicket-taker list (with 68 wickets from 54 matches); his last performance of bowling 3-20 against LSG (in the final of IPL 2026) gave him that distinction.

But there’s some sadness in the dressing room. Captain Riyan Parag is batting only 13.50 this season, from seven games. A couple of days ago Parag has said “he’s going through a tough phase” and RR’s safe top-four spot has concealed some problems. In the dressing room, it’s never an easy time when your captain is struggling. This is a time for him to show leadership.

Sunrisers: Courageous, Aggressive and with Cummins

Coming into Jaipur, SRH are three matches unbeaten, and are hungry – their captain is with them. Pat Cummins has not played in last year’s December Ashes match – because of his back – and not even the 2026 IPL. But for SRH, he is a rebel captain, whose captaincy has come with the team being able to bat with relative abandon – a recipe for, not only SRH’s, but IPL’s success. SRH are a nightmare team to bowl against. In this IPL, SRH have been best served with the batsmen Abhishek (323 runs) and Heinrich (320 runs).

Pitch & Conditions

Sawai Mansingh Stadium is a neutrally-balanced pitch and both bat and ball will contribute. The boundaries are relatively long and straight, and spin will have grip in the middle overs. This latter point may be crucial – RR’s Ravi Bishnoi and Ravindra Jadeja will be ready to shine in the middle overs if SRH bowlers can get past their top order on Reddy Anna.

Who Will Win: Rajasthan Royals

Hard to be sure, but the home team wins this one. Home ground, the intimidating Sooryavanshi-Jaiswal partnership and Archer’s pace and aggression provides formidable ammunition for RR to achieve any target. Cummins’ return is thrilling, but an out of shape comeback from SRH may be a risky game. The winning probability (at the time of writing) is 53-47 for RR, and with great crowd support in Jaipur and a thirst for revenge, I’m confident Rajasthan Royals will not only draw the season series, but also take out the top-two spot and you will be able to watch it on Reddyannaofficial.
